Male Catheterization Trainer, strap on type

The LM109MA is a wearable training simulator designed for hands-on training in male urinary bladder catheterization and enema administration. Thanks to its strap-on design, the simulator can be attached either to a person or simulated patient, or to a suitable training manikin. This allows nursing procedures to be practiced in a particularly realistic manner while also incorporating patient communication. 

The anatomically realistic design and the use of soft, flexible materials provide a convincing tactile experience and support authentic training. The penis features realistic mobility. The design requires the penis to be correctly lifted and positioned in order to insert the catheter. When catheterization is performed correctly, fluid is discharged to simulate urine output, providing immediate confirmation of successful catheter placement. 

In addition to catheter insertion, the individual steps involved in catheterization can be practiced – from preparation and disinfection of the intimate area to insertion, securing, and removal of the catheter. Retracting the foreskin as well as cleaning and hygiene procedures can also be practiced under realistic conditions. 

The LM109MA also enables training in glycerin enema administration. The included training instrument can be inserted through the anus into the simulated rectal area.
