This well-known IV injection arm is offered in a version that can be attached to the right arm attachment of model R10052. It features realistic PVC skin and latex veins so that the skin actually wrinkles when the vein is palpated and the characteristic ‘pop’ can be felt when the needle enters the vein. With correct insertion there is a realistic reflux. The arm can be rotated at the elbow so that the cubital fossa, forearm and back of the hand are easily accessible. A bony landmark on the shoulder helps to recognise muscle tissue for intramuscular injections.
