The “Chucky Chest” Chest Seal Trainer is an innovative training device designed to realistically simulate a suction-type chest wound. The integrated pump system uses a pump bellows to simulate the patient’s inhalation and exhalation. This creates a dynamic training scenario in which the application and functional check of a chest seal can be practiced under realistic conditions. This provides users with a practical understanding of how to manage open chest injuries. The trainer consists of a large, oval silicone skin with a centrally positioned wound.
