Innovative products in focus
Our highlights - including Combat Carl, NEMO, Puncture Pete and many other exciting innovations and products - were met with great interest. These were specially developed to improve education and training in the medical field. Visitors to our stand had the opportunity to experience our models up close, and the positive feedback once again confirmed the importance of realistic training aids for modern medical training.
A particular focus was on showing participants how our products not only promote technical competence, but also strengthen confidence in decision-making skills in critical situations. The great response we received from teachers, medical professionals and decision-makers shows us that we are on the right track with our mission.

HIGHLIGHTS:
"Puncture Pete" hyperrealistic IV training arm
Our new ‘Puncture Pete’ injection training arm solves any problems you might have with other arms. It offers an extensive network of easily interchangeable veins of varying depths, allowing a range of difficulty levels when practising IV injection. Puncture can be practised on the dorsal vein, cephalic vein, basilic vein, brachial vein (deep), radial vein, median antebrachial vein, ulnar vein and median cubital vein. All veins that can be seen on the skin are located exactly under the skin structure and can be punctured. The fluid system is able to simulate blood reflux upon successful venipuncture, giving the user immediate feedback. The arm is made of durable, yet realistic, soft silicone to withstand repeated use and ensure longevity in training environments. It is flexible and allows for adjustable positioning and rotation of the arm to facilitate different training scenarios and user preferences. Of course, it is compatible with standard IV equipment such as catheters, needles, vacuum tubes and infusion sets.

"Combat Carl" Care and Evacuation manikin
Combat Carl was developed in close co-operation with the German Armed Forces and special units and offers all the important functions for TCCC and TECC training. Due to its robust nature and flexibility in the extremities, Combat Carl is ideal for professional training in the civilian and military sector. Providing medical care on the battlefield poses different challenges than in the event of an accident at home. From initial treatment in a firefight to onward transport to a treatment centre, soldiers risk their lives in their work. Combat Carl can be used to map the entire MARCH scheme.

NEMO Ultimate High End Neonatal Simulation Manikin
NeMo ultimate is the high fidelity infant simulator. By faithfully reproducing the anatomy and physiology of a baby, NeMo ultimate is a useful tool for all types of neonatal specialist training such as advanced life support, intensive care and various medical procedures. Unique features of the manikin include lifelike movements of the eyelids, head and limbs; pupil and Babinski reflexes; realistic sounds such as laughing, crying and coughing; and realistic silicone skin that colours to simulate conditions such as cyanosis, jaundice and pallor.
