All anaesthetists should be trained to perform a surgical airway. Training should be repeated at regular intervals to ensure skill retention.

VBM developed the eFONA Trainer which is an anatomical representation of an adult neck that mimics real anatomy. The folding and locking mechanism hold the skin snugly in place and allow quick replacement of accessory parts. Learners can take a turn and perform multiple cricothyrotomies. A Fat Pad can be added under the skin to mimic subcutaneous fat or swelling.

The chin is moveable to train cricothyrotomy under difficult conditions.

Includes 5 skins, 5 double skins, 5 tracheal rings, 5 fat pads, and a carrying case.
