This Simulator is ideal for teaching patients and caregivers different suctioning techniques, proper cuff inflation, dressing changes, and other techniques. Includes oral and nasal passages, the pharynx, epiglottis, trachea, esophagus, tracheostomy site, and cricoid cartilage. The mouth and jaw are flexible to allow oral suctioning. The trachea branches into the left and right bronchial trees. Cleansing and maintenance of the external tracheal site can be performed just as on an actual patient. The adult manikin comes with one tracheostomy tube, instruction guide, and hard carry case.

This model can be used to practice the procedures carried out for tracheostomypatients in the fields of nursing and caregiving when replacing cannulas or performing suction through a cannula. The model can be divided into two halves and the trachea section is transparent, allowing confirmation of the state of cannula insertion and the position of the suction catheter in the cannula during suction.
